Omsk State Medical University is a medical institution located in Omsk, Russia. It was established as the Medical Faculty in 1920 as part of the Siberian Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Zoology. In 1921, it was transformed into the West Siberian State Medical Institute. In 1925, it was renamed the Omsk State Medical Institute. In 1994, it received the name Omsk State Medical Academy.
