Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Admissions

To secure a seat at ASMA, international applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Academic Marks: Minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in 12th standard (10+2).
• Age: The applicant must be at least 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year.
• Entrance Exam: For Indian students, a qualifying NEET scorecard is mandatory. No IELTS/TOEFL is required.

Step-by-step Admission Process

1.Submit Application:

Fill out the university’s online application form and upload scanned copies of your academic transcripts and passport.

2.Document Verification:

The university admissions committee evaluates your academic credentials and NEET eligibility.

3.Receive Admission Letter:

Upon successful verification, ASMA issues an official Admission Letter (typically within 2 to 3 weeks).

4.Visa Processing:Takes 4-6 weeks.

Use the official invitation letter to apply for a Russian Student Visa at the nearest Russian Embassy or Consulate.

5.Arrival and Registration:

Travel to Blagoveshchensk. Upon arrival, complete the final university enrollment formalities, medical check-ups, and hostel allocation.

Documents Required for Admission

• 10th and 12th standard mark sheets and certificates.
• Valid NEET Scorecard.
• Original Passport (with at least 2 years of validity).
• Medical fitness certificate (including a negative HIV test report).
• Passport-size photographs.
• Police Clearance Certificate (PCC).

Clinical Training & Teaching Hospitals (recommended addition)

Clinical exposure is a priority, beginning in the third year of study. The academy has a robust clinical base:

• Clinic of Cardiovascular Surgery: Established in 1974, this in-house center performs around 700 complex cardiovascular operations annually.
• Amur Regional Hospital & Regional Children’s Hospital: Students rotate through these major regional centers to gain hands-on experience in diagnostics, surgery, and patient care.

Campus Facilities (recommended addition)

The academy operates across four primary training buildings covering over 21,000 square meters. Facilities include 14 dedicated scientific labs and a central scientific research center. The university provides standard, comfortable dormitory accommodation for international students, with annual hostel fees generally ranging around 24,000 to 60,000 RUB depending on the room type.

Student Life at University
